The concept of this cover is loosely based on my younger daughter, Maia. She constantly surprises me with how analytical and logical her young mind is. Definitely curious and will raise questions upon questions until she is satisfied with the answers. Often times when my answers are not good enough for her, she will seek her own through books or the internet. Children have so much enthusiasm in seeking knowledge. It is a great thing indeed.

Materials used : paperclay, paint, patina, paper, metal components, stained linen, hemp cords, a vintage optometrist lens, a vintage clock gear, handstamped and soldered copper tag and finishing medium.
