Ode to Sage

*This is a commission piece*

A client approached me and wanted me to make a necklace for her totally devoid of metal, as she is allergic to all metals. She also wanted one of my heart designs from my polymer clay days which i do not make anymore. I nearly did not accept this order until i found a polymer clay heart that i made way back, which i never got a chance to use then. I showed it to her and she loved the heart. So i embarked on this special "metal-less" piece for her. It was harder than I thought. But i managed it! Not a single piece of metal! I had to fashion a rustic toggle from clay for this piece so that i didn't have to use a metal clasp. everything is held together with needle and thread, and simple knots.

Because of the nature of this piece, this necklace will not be replicated and so shall be the only one in the world
