Description
Long before his birth, the coming of Earendil has been foreseen by the Eldar. They knew that a great seafearer is to be born and his task, to make the one important voyage to the Ancient West and seek the aid of the Valar during the most desperate of times, to safe his land from the wrath of Morgoth.
If captain logs and documentations of voyages exist in those times, I would like to think that this journal would have been the very journal that Earendil would have used to record his journeys and explorations.
This mixed media handbound journal is an assemblage of all things new and old. As such, it is one of a kind and cannot be fully replicated. The covers are a combination of paint, patina agent, brass and metal ornaments, clay, copper wires, gears, Jasper and a beautiful vintage door cap. The artwork is aged and distressed, and finished with several coats of varnish. Pages are hand sewn onto a leather spine.
